Biography

Józefa Hałacińska (1867–1946) was a Polish nun whose religious life spanned nearly eighty years, from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. Her dedication to religious service reflected the important role of the Catholic Church in Polish society and culture throughout this transformative period.

Sister Józefa lived through significant historical changes, including Poland's independence, the interwar period, and World War II. She was buried at the Old Cemetery in Płock, where her memory is preserved as part of the legacy of religious women who served Polish communities with devotion and faith.
