Biography

Judah Colt lived during a formative period in American history, witnessing the nation's early development from the Revolutionary era through the early decades of the nineteenth century. He passed away in 1832 at the age of seventy-one, leaving behind a legacy rooted in his community.

Colt's life spanned seven decades of significant change and growth in the young United States. He was laid to rest at Erie Cemetery, where his memory continues to be honored among those who came before and after him.
