Biography
Jules Bardou was a young soldier whose ordinariness belied the courage he summoned in answering his country’s call. Enlisting during a time of great peril, he stood alongside comrades who shared his determination to defend the Republic.
Though his life was cut short in 1916, Bardou’s memory endures through the respect of those who knew him, and he now rests at the cimetière de Cappy, his sacrifice an enduring reminder of youthful valor.
