Biography

Július Andorko (1883–1909) was a painter whose brief life reflected a serious engagement with color and form, seeking to bring clarity and warmth to the scenes he portrayed. Though his years were few, his canvases spoke of a thoughtful artist intent on sharing honest glimpses of everyday humanity.

Today he rests in the Fiume Road Graveyard, remembered for the earnest light with which he painted the world around him.
