June R. J. Mills devoted herself to botanical collecting, travelling to chalk downlands and wetlands to gather specimens and to record their stories for future generations.
Her careful notes and preserved samples became a valued resource for naturalists associated with the parish at Church of St Mary, Shrawley, where they continue to inspire people to care for the living world.
