Biography
Kaljo Palmiste embraced the challenge and beauty of high peaks as a mountaineer, bringing courage and careful planning to every ascent. He was respected for his measured approach to exploration and the camaraderie he built among fellow climbers.
His adventures beyond Estonia reflected a lifetime of seeking new horizons while remaining deeply connected to home, and his story continues to encourage others toward safe and purposeful journeys. He rests at Pärnamäe Cemetery, cherished by those who shared his passion for the mountains.
