Karel Boček

Biography

Father Karel Boček devoted years of priestly service to the faithful of Saint Odile and surrounding neighborhoods, tending to every confession, visiting the sick, and advocating for social care programs. He welcomed newcomers, remembered names, and worked to ensure the Church could respond to the quieter needs of widows and laborers.

Now resting at Saint Odile cemetery, his memory is invoked whenever community members renew old friendships or gather for commemoration; they remember him as a steady beacon of prayer and action. His calm presence lives on among those who continue his work of compassionate witness.
