Biography

Karel Dvořák, born in 1884, was a member of the resilient communities of Bohemia whose life was marked by devotion to family and quiet service before the war disrupted his world.

In the shadow of Terezín he shared strength with others held within the camp, and his memory now rests in the National Cemetery where he lies with fellow victims of intolerance.
