Biography

Karel Podhajský (1871–1930) was a Czech entomologist whose scientific interests focused on the study of insects. Active during a period of growing scientific inquiry in the Czech lands, he contributed to the field of entomology during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Podhajský's work reflected the broader European scientific community's engagement with natural history. He is remembered in the cemetery in Litomyšl, where he was buried following his death in 1930.
