Biography

Karel Scheinpflug was born in 1899 and passed away in 1987, living nearly nine decades during one of history's most eventful periods. His lifetime encompassed the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the creation of Czechoslovakia, and the subsequent political upheavals of the twentieth century.

Scheinpflug's long life reflected the resilience and adaptability required of those who lived through multiple political systems and cultural transformations in Central Europe. He is commemorated at Olšany Cemetery, among the many notable individuals of his generation.
