Karen Blixen (1885–1962) was a Danish short story writer of international renown, best known for her collection "Seven Gothic Tales" and her memoir "Out of Africa," which chronicled her experiences managing a coffee plantation in Kenya. Her distinctive narrative style, marked by lyrical prose and imaginative storytelling, established her as one of the most significant literary figures of the twentieth century.
