Biography

Karl Friedrich von Klöden (1786–1856) was a German naturalist whose scientific interests and observations contributed to the natural sciences during the early 19th century. His work reflected the growing emphasis on empirical study and classification characteristic of the period.

Von Klöden's career spanned seven decades of scientific inquiry and naturalistic observation. His contributions to the understanding of natural phenomena were valued by his contemporaries, and he remained active in scholarly pursuits throughout his long life. He was buried at Luisenstadt Cemetery in Berlin.
