Karl Kotzenberg was a merchant who engaged in commercial trade and business activities in Frankfurt. Born in 1866, he worked during the height of Frankfurt's significance as a major commercial center in Germany.

Kotzenberg's merchant activities contributed to the city's trading networks and economic vitality. He remained active in commerce until his death in 1940, maintaining a career rooted in commercial enterprise. He was laid to rest at Frankfurt Main Cemetery.
