Karl Stecher entered the world in 1831, witnessing decades of change across the nineteenth century. Those who knew him recall a dependable presence, one who took pride in caring for his community and supporting his neighbors with consistent generosity.

When he died in 1923, Old Mission Cemetery became the place where Karl’s legacy of steadfast kindness is honored to this day.
