Biography
Karl Wagner was born in 1866 in Brno, and from his earliest days he brought a quiet curiosity to the synagogue classes that gathered near the family plots in the Jewish cemetery. He was known for the gentle way he listened to elders and for the small poems he recited about the seasons of the town.
Though his time was short, ending in 1885, Karl remains remembered for the kindness of his heart and the softness of his smile, leaving a tender warmth in the memories of those who knew him.
