Karl Woermann

Biography

Karl Woermann (1844–1933) was a distinguished German university teacher whose long academic career contributed significantly to German higher education. Active throughout the latter half of the nineteenth century and into the twentieth, he was a respected scholar and educator whose work influenced generations of students.

Woermann's intellectual legacy endured through his teaching and scholarly contributions to German academic life. He was interred at Urnenhain Tolkewitz, a final resting place befitting his standing within the academic community of his era.
