Biography

Karol Meyzer (1797–1837) was a talented architect whose work contributed to the architectural heritage of early nineteenth-century Poland. Though his career was cut short by his untimely death at forty, Meyzer left an imprint on the built environment through his designs and constructions.

Meyzer's final resting place is in the Cmentarz Stary (Old Cemetery) in Kielce, where he is commemorated. His architectural contributions remain part of the cultural and historical record of Polish design during the Romantic period.
