Biography
Karol Stanisław Szymański was a Polish military officer who dedicated his career to service in the Polish armed forces during the interwar period. Born in 1895, he represented the generation of officers who helped establish and maintain Poland's independence following World War I.
Major Szymański's life was cut short during the tragic events of 1940, when he was killed during the Soviet occupation of eastern Poland.
