Biography

Katia Iarovaïa was a Russian writer whose literary work contributed to contemporary Russian letters. Born in 1957, she engaged in creative writing during the transformative final decades of the Soviet Union and the subsequent period of Russian cultural development.

Iarovaïa's writing reflected her artistic vision and literary sensibilities. She pursued her literary career until her death in 1992, leaving behind works that contributed to Russian literary culture. She was interred at Vostryakovo Cemetery.
