Biography
Kazimierz Bogusławski was born in 1887 and lived through Poland's most transformative historical period, witnessing the restoration of Polish independence after World War I and the subsequent decades of national development. He experienced the interwar period, World War II, and the early years of communist rule, observing the profound changes that reshaped Polish society and politics.
Bogusławski lived until 1949, surviving into the postwar period to see Poland's reconstruction and the establishment of the new political order. He was laid to rest at Stary Cmentarz w Łodzi (the Old Cemetery in Łódź), a place of remembrance for those whose long lives spanned some of the most significant events in modern European history.
