Biography
Kazimierz Gwiazdowicz served as an officer of the Milicja Obywatelska, Poland's citizens' militia, during a crucial period in the nation's post-war history. Born in 1924, he dedicated his career to public service and law enforcement during the formative decades of the Polish People's Republic.
Gwiazdowicz's service represented the commitment of many Poles to maintaining order and security in their communities during the complex post-war era. He served until his death in 1964 and was honored with burial at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, a final resting place for many distinguished Poles.
