Biography

Kirsten Zacho dedicated herself to Esperanto, promoting the language as a bridge between cultures and a vessel for international understanding. Through meetings, translations, and correspondence, she offered others a glimpse of a more connected world.

Zacho’s advocacy continues to inspire linguists and idealists alike, and her efforts live on quietly in the community gathered at Rødovre cemetery where she rests.
