Biography
Kit Dalton, born 1843, was drawn into the tumultuous years after the Civil War, becoming known in the lore of the Old Southwest for his time as an outlaw. His story reflects the uneasy transition of the frontier into a settled society, where lawlessness and redemption often crossed paths.
