Biography

Klara Hacksell was a pioneering photographer who captured images during the early development of photographic art in Sweden. As a woman working in this emerging field, she demonstrated remarkable skill and vision in documenting her era through the camera lens.

Klara lived 44 years and was interred at Sandsborg Cemetery. Her work as a photographer represents the contributions of women artists who helped establish Sweden's photographic heritage.
