Biography

Klemens Boryczewski was a sculptor of the nineteenth century whose work contributed to the artistic heritage of Paris. Active during a period of significant architectural and sculptural development in the French capital, he engaged with the classical and contemporary traditions that defined his era's artistic practice.

Boryczewski's career reflected the international character of Paris as an artistic center, attracting talent from across Europe. His burial in the Cimetière parisien de Bagneux marks his final resting place in the city where he pursued his sculptural practice until his death in 1874.
