Konstantin Erendzhenov

Biography

Konstantin Erendzhenov (1912–1991) was a Russian writer from Elista whose literary career spanned much of the twentieth century. Working through the Soviet period, Erendzhenov contributed to Russian literature and cultural life, drawing on his heritage from the Kalmyk region.

His long life and career reflected the experiences of a writer navigating the complex literary landscape of the Soviet era until its final years.
