Biography

Kostis Palamas (1859–1943) was one of Greece's most celebrated writers and a towering figure in modern Greek literature. His prolific career spanned from the late nineteenth century through the mid-twentieth century, during which he produced poetry, drama, and essays that profoundly influenced Greek intellectual and cultural life. Palamas was recognized as a leading voice of his generation, earning widespread acclaim for his literary contributions.
