Biography

Kristina Lovisa Holmstrand was a Swedish woman who lived through much of the nineteenth century, witnessing significant changes in her nation during her lifetime. Born in 1831, she maintained her place in Gävle society until her death in 1896 at the age of sixty-five.

Holmstrand was laid to rest at Gamla kyrkogården in Gävle, a cemetery that served as the final resting place for many respected members of the community, preserving her memory for future generations.
