Biography

Kurt Gruber (1896–1918) was an Austrian aircraft pilot who served during the final years of World War I. He represented a generation of aviation pioneers who flew during the earliest era of military aviation, when aircraft technology was rapidly evolving.

Gruber's service reflected the courage of early aviators who faced unprecedented challenges in the skies. His life was cut short by the war, but he remains remembered as part of aviation's pioneering generation.
