Biography
Kuzebay Gerd was a talented Tatar poet whose literary works contributed to the cultural heritage of the Tatar people. His poetry reflected the artistic sensibilities and intellectual concerns of the early Soviet period.
Gerd was executed at Sandarmokh in 1937 as part of Stalin's systematic campaign against intellectuals and cultural figures. His death represents the tragic loss of a voice in Tatar literature during the Great Purge.
