Lajos Kubanyi

Lajos Kubanyi, born 1855, honored Dolné Strháre and the wider region with his painterly gifts, creating works that captured the light and spirit of the Slovak countryside.

He shared his artistic vision until 1912, when he departed, yet the colors and scenes he immortalized continue to speak for him.
