Biography
Lajos Szendrői (1850–1919) was a Hungarian furrier whose craft contributed to Budapest's textile and fashion industries during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He practiced his skilled trade during a period when Budapest was developing as a center of craftsmanship and manufacturing in Central Europe.
Szendrői's career in the fur trade extended through the end of World War I. He was laid to rest in the Farkasréti Cemetery, where he is remembered as a skilled craftsperson who contributed to Budapest's industrial and commercial heritage.
