Lajos Tolnay devoted his engineering talents to projects that supported the region’s prosperity, applying careful planning to the construction of bridges, roads, or public works. His commitment to precision kept countless structures reliable and safe for everyday use.

He mentored fellow engineers and remained attentive to new ideas that would strengthen infrastructure for future generations. He rests in the Fiume Road Graveyard, honored for his steadfast service to the built environment.
