Biography

Langdon Lea (1874–1937) shared his energy with the institutions and neighbors that shaped his world, taking pride in the transitions that carried his generation into a new century and engaging in civic life with leadership and humility.

Throughout his life he nurtured friendships and partnerships grounded in mutual respect, cherishing the continuity of those bonds even as society changed, and he now rests at Laurel Hill Cemetery where his memory is honored by all who celebrate his contributions.
