Langley Wakeman Collyer combined keen curiosity with practical ingenuity, applying himself to projects that kept his community humming and its buildings and systems in good repair.

He delighted in the improvisational victories of everyday life—tackling a tricky repair, hosting a neighborhood gathering, or offering friendly counsel—and he now rests at Dale Cemetery.
