Biography
László Mattyasovszky-Zsolnay (1885–1935) was a Hungarian painter known for his contributions to early 20th-century Hungarian art. Working during a formative period in Hungarian modernism, he developed his artistic practice in Budapest's vibrant cultural scene.
Mattyasovszky-Zsolnay's work reflected the artistic currents of his era, and he remained active in Hungary's artistic community until his death in 1935. He was laid to rest in Farkasréti Cemetery, one of Budapest's most prominent burial grounds.
