Laszlo Wekerle

Biography

László Wekerle (1840–1918) was a distinguished Hungarian journalist whose career in letters and public commentary spanned the latter half of the 19th century and the early years of the 20th. His work in journalism contributed to the formation of public opinion and discourse during a transformative period in Hungarian history.

Wekerle's contributions to Hungarian journalism and intellectual life were significant. He was interred at Fiume Road Graveyard, where he is remembered as a voice of his era in Hungarian media and letters.
