Biography
Laura Kaufman (1889–1972) was a Polish biologist whose scientific work contributed to the advancement of biological science in Poland. Active throughout the twentieth century, her research and scholarly contributions reflected a commitment to understanding living organisms and biological processes during a period of significant scientific development.
Kaufman established herself as a respected member of the Polish scientific community, particularly in Lublin, where she conducted much of her work. Her career in biology represented an important contribution to Polish science and learning. She was laid to rest at Lipowa Street cemetery in Lublin, where her memory is honored among other distinguished figures of Polish scientific achievement.
