Biography
Laure Lhonneux was a French woman of the 19th and early 20th centuries who lived through a period of significant cultural and social change. Born in 1841, she witnessed the transformation of France during the latter half of the 1800s and the early years of the 1900s.
Lhonneux's life spanned an era of artistic and intellectual flourishing in Paris. She was laid to rest in the historic Montmartre Cemetery, a final resting place shared with many notable figures of her time, until her death in 1923.
