Biography

Lawrence Johnston’s love of plants led him to create Hidcote Manor Garden, one of England’s most celebrated outdoor rooms, where bold structure met delicate detail. He combined an artist’s sensitivity with a gardener’s exacting eye, shaping landscapes that invited quiet contemplation.
