Lazar Auspitz

Biography

Lazar Auspitz was a successful businessman who contributed to the economic life of Brno during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. His commercial endeavors reflected the growing mercantile activity and entrepreneurial spirit of the period in Moravia.

Auspitz was a respected member of Brno's Jewish community, whose commercial acumen and business ventures were recognized by his contemporaries. He was interred in the Jewish cemetery in Brno, a final resting place that honored his contributions to both business and community life.
