Biography
Leendert de Bruijn was a Dutch carpenter who lived during a tumultuous period in European history. Born in 1914, he worked in his skilled trade during the early decades of the twentieth century.
De Bruijn's life was cut short in 1944, and he was laid to rest in the Dutch memorial cemetery in Lübeck, Germany, where his memory is preserved among those who died far from home during the Second World War.
