Biography
Kumu hula Leinaʻala Drummond dedicated her life to nurturing the Hawaiian spirit, welcoming students into her circle and teaching them to move with grace, focus, and aloha. She treated every performance as a chance to honor ancestors and celebrate the present.
At Alae Cemetery, her memory is carried forward by the dancers, musicians, and families who continue to pass on the traditions she safeguarded. Her presence will always be felt in the rhythms of the hula she loved.
