Biography

Leo Carrillo was a distinguished actor, comedian, and entertainer who became a beloved figure in early Hollywood cinema and television. Born in 1881, he appeared in numerous films and was particularly known for his charismatic performances in Western productions and his role as Pancho in the popular television series "The Cisco Kid."

Carrillo's career spanned several decades, during which he became an ambassador of Mexican-American culture in entertainment. He was also an accomplished painter and sculptor, bringing his artistic talents to multiple creative fields. He passed away in 1961 and was laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneering Latino performer in American entertainment.
