Biography
Leon Wernic was born in 1870 and became an active member of Warsaw's Evangelical Protestant community. Throughout his long life, he maintained connections to the religious and cultural institutions of the city's evangelical congregation during a period of significant historical change.
Wernic lived into his eighties, passing away in 1953. He was interred at the Evangelical Cemetery of the Augsburg Confession in Warsaw, where he rests among other members of the evangelical community he served and supported throughout his lifetime.
