Biography
Leon Witkowski was a distinguished Polish musicologist whose scholarly work advanced the understanding of music history and theory. Born in 1908, he dedicated himself to the study and preservation of musical knowledge throughout his career.
He passed away in 1992 and was laid to rest in the Cemetery of St. George in Toruń. His contributions to musicology remain valued in Polish academic circles.
