Biography

Leonard Pecyna (1922–1944) was a Polish resistance fighter who courageously opposed Nazi occupation during World War II. At just 22 years old, he joined the ranks of those who risked everything to defend Polish sovereignty and human dignity against overwhelming odds.

Pecyna's brief but meaningful life exemplified the spirit of resistance that defined a generation. He was laid to rest at Powązki Military Cemetery, where his sacrifice is honored alongside countless other defenders of Poland's freedom.
