Biography

Leone Sextus Tollemache was a military officer who served his nation during the First World War. Born in 1884, he answered the call to military service during one of history's most devastating conflicts, dedicating himself to his duties as a member of the armed forces.

Tollemache made the ultimate sacrifice in 1917, giving his life in service to his country. He was honored with burial in Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, where he rests among other fallen soldiers who gave their lives during the Great War.
