Léonel de Laubespin was a French aristocrat of the nineteenth century who maintained the traditions and social standing of the French nobility during a period of significant political and social transformation. His life spanned nearly a century, witnessing the evolution of France from the Napoleonic era through the establishment of the Third Republic.

De Laubespin's legacy reflects the aristocratic heritage of his time, and he was ultimately laid to rest in Père Lachaise Cemetery, one of Paris's most prestigious burial grounds, where many notable figures of French society were interred.
