Leopold Pollak

Biography

Leopold Pollak was born in 1860 and became an active member of the Brno Jewish community during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He lived through a period of significant cultural and social development within Central European Jewry.

Pollak passed away in 1919 and was interred in the Jewish cemetery in Brno. His fifty-nine years of life represented an important chapter in the history of Brno's Jewish population during a transformative era.
